The Science of Studying: Brain-Based Strategies that Work (3/25)

Studying for midterms? Wondering if you could study better? Caroline Marvin from the Psychology department will share how research findings from cognitive neuroscience can help you develop stronger study skills. We'll leverage what we know about learning and the brain to discuss why strategies we commonly use don't work and to suggest strategies that save time and get results.  RSVP

The Core Scholars Program is now accepting submissions for 2016. The program invites students to submit an artistic piece of work (a poem, essay, dance, video, music) that reflects their Core experience.

The CC Pass/D/Fail deadline, the CC R-credit deadline, the CC Withdrawal (W) deadline, the SEAS Pass/Fail deadline, and the SEAS drop deadline are all Thursday, March 24.

Melting snow, housing drama, non-stop midterms… the spring season must be approaching! And that means it’s time to count down to Spring Break.

Whether you and the gang are blasting off to Cancun or you’re kicking it back here in New York City, Spring Break should be a time for refueling and some good ole relaxation. After a couple grueling months of classes, it is so crucial to take a deep breath and unwind.

The Tutoring & Learning Center provides free academic support and tutoring to high school students in Harlem and Morningside Heights. We're hiring qualified tutors to help! Work-study and volunteer positions are available. Commit as little as two hours per week!

No tutoring experience is needed, and training is provided.
