Tasnima is being recognized for her work building community and efforts leading advocacy around campus. She has spent four years shaping the Muslim community to be a welcoming and inclusive space through her various leadership roles in the Muslim Student Association. Her involvement supporting cultural programming led by the Bengali student club has made every event enriching and exciting. She has also been an active advocate in refugee and migrant rights in CU Amnesty International and through her various other volunteer and humanitarian campaign work. Tasnima’s passion for change is something she hopes to carry on into her future endeavors.
